Mild elevated Liver : ALT : 33U/L & AST:33U/L

Hi there,

I am an Asian 37 years old ( female), I've recently done a heath screening, and noted that a mildly elevated liver.  ALT 33U/L & AST: 33U/L.  AFP reading : Normal.  I understand that this is possible due to fatty liver.  However, I am not a drinker and my current BMI is 19.  I am so confused and worried if anything bad will happen to me...

No, nothing bad will happen to you. In fact, your numbers are considered normal in some labs. But as they are not, they are very mildly elevated based on your labs ranges. Your numbers will tend to bounce around as well, so the next time you test, they maybe well within the normal range. Some dieting, exerise and eating the proper foods will clearup your very mild fatty liver but you are healthy now.
