Pancreitis?

by byeter, Sep 18, 2009 09:12PM
I have elevated lipase, Amylase is fine, elevated liver enzymes and my glucose is a little high 111. Could this be pancreitis or what is the likely problem?

Elevated lipase could be pancreatitis, kidney problems, gall bladder infection, and tumors of the pancreas, but these are usually painful. High glucose could be as simple as overeating. Kidney problems, different gland disorders. Elevated liver enzymes could refer to any one number of conditions, and does not necessarily indicate any specific disease. Ultrasound of your pancreas or gall bladder or a CT scan of your abdomen. Will single out what the problem is. Consult your physician about your individual case.

I hope things go well for you.
