Red palms are indeed caused by more than just liver disease. I have read that hormone fluctuations can cause them. Have you had any liver function blood work done? If normalNormal saline flush I wouldn't give it a second thought. It could be related to the impact of your surgery and such. I would relax about it. I have red palms every now and then but it comes and goes. I am in my early forties and believe it or not I notice it on a lot of women around me. If it continues to worry you, I would mention it to your doctor.
Hello
How's those red palms doing these days? Curious. My sister in law who has hepatitis c has the red palms. She was told by her hepatologist normally this happens with individuals that have liver disease or hormonal issues. It's been 4 or more years now and she still has those red palms too and she completed interferon for a year and remains undetectable. I hope this helps and hope your doing better.
Take care!
