My Father died at 47 from cirrosis which seemed strange for his level of drinking. My daughter had iron deposits on her liver and was told that she was at low risk for this. Is it possible that my ferritin levels could have been caused from surgery?? I was told that the enzymes could have been high from the extended surgery. I am currently waiting for an appointment with a specialist.
Just thinking that there might be a possibility that the diagnosis might have been made too hasty.
