Treatment for hepatic lesions

by mlsilveira, Feb 09, 2009 04:31PM
I have a hepatic hemangioma that is growing.  I've been told by a liver surgeon that the only way to confirm this is with a liver biospy.  He feel hemangioma don't grow as my has.  What is the perscribed treatment for a confirmed Hemangioma?  Do they grow or not?  I had to have my gallbladder taken out January 2008, and that's when they found the liver lesion.  My general surgeon took a picture and stated it was a hermangioma.  The liver surgeon questions that conclusion.  I'm scheduled for a biospy soon.  I have asthma and last year took drugs that have cordizone.  Is there a concern that this may have contributed to the growth?
