Hello Readers!
I am posting in regard too what i THINK maybe a liver issue but WHO knows, seems doctor's cant figure it out OR with my insurance being as crummy as it is, the correctCorrect (new formula) and additional testing isnt being done.
I was diagnosed after turning jaundiceBreast milk jaundice Infant jaundice Jaundice Jaundice - yellow skin Jaundice infant Newborn jaundice and being in the hospital awhile with hepatitis c. Shortly after, about a year, i began getting on my shinsShin splints red, hot, very intensely itchy red patchAllergy testing Skin color - patchy's on my shinsShin splints that only appear and spread from the anklesAnkle pain Ankle sprain Ankle sprain - series Ankle sprain swelling Atopy on the ankles Foot, leg, and ankle swelling Lichen simplex chronicus on the ankle Sprained ankle up to my knee caps - never anywhere else, and when this occurs, the first thing that occurs is an intense hot feeling then accompanied by an intense internal and external itchy feeling that is ten times worse than that of the chicken pox, then on my shins it will turn so red it's as red if not redder than a ripe tomatto. It's very painful, and i'm now experiencing with it sharp pains that radiate from where the inital red patch starts, and it will shoot up my leg. No, i have no leg, ankle, knee injuries. This all began very slow, at first i only got this once in awhile, now it's any time i'm on my feet for any long amount of time ( over an hour) and now my memory is getting very bad to the point its noticeable by people that know me. I've seen drs numerous times for this and once a doppler test was done (the first time this happened) to rule out blood clots, that was negative. Over time this is now happening over and over, and i cant be on my feet or whamo, there it goes again. I asked the doctor if it could be sugar issues because my wounds now arent healing as quick as they use too and at that they dont heal back to my skin tone but now heal back to brown or black once it does heal but again it is taking a wound long to heal no matter how simple it may be, i.e. a scratch.
So overall, my memory is really getting bad, i FEEL like crud, i get shakes, and my emotions are very unpredictable all along with this red patch stuff. Please note when i say red patch, this will cover the entire front and back of my lower shin area mostly on the left leg but sometimes it will go too the right leg but RARELY as bad. We thought it was a skin infection/cellulititis and was put on keeflex 500mgs and that didnt do anything, in fact during treatment this still happened and even afterwards - i thought perhaps i was allergic to elastic or something so trying this out, i wore sandles for shoes and then pants with flair bottoms that were kept away from my skin and then even tried with shorts on, that didnt work. Was it possibly my soap? i went too perfume free, dye free stuff, that didnt work. Is this a symptom of hepatitis c? I have heard in the past about how some people with liver disease get red palms, but i'm told it isnt accompanied by my other symptoms of memory loss, fatigue (real badly - never feel rested and with energy) and my wounds dont heal quick and they heal brown/black. What is going on? These people i've seen who state they are doctors dont know, i've had blood tests done, and i've had a doppler done that showed nothing which frustrates me because it's left whatever this is to get worse and my memory and everything else is slowly taking a dump!
Sugar? i wondered if it was sugar, dr said no. I am totally lost here with WHAT to do! Suggestions would be great!
Much obliged and have yourself a wonderful day!
