ab pain

diagnosed with fatty liver last night.don't know the severity yet,but suffer from constant to severe pain in right quadrant of abdomen.does this suggest possible severe damage to the liver already?

You are going to be ok if you stop whatever made your liver enlarged to begin with. Fatty liver doesn't suggest severe permanent damage, but if whatever you've been doing to it continues, it certainly *will* turn to permanent damage. Do you know the cause? With most people (including me) it's alcohol. If it's something chronic like Hep C, there are specific treatments. This is a huge blinking sign from your body to you - a mega 'warning'. Be good to your liver and eat healthy.
