above normal level SGPT and SGOT

Dear Sir, I underwent CABG in June 1998 and since then take Rousovastatin 10mg, Cardace 5mg, Nebistar 2.5mg, Clopdogril 75mg daily. Through Diet and exercise regimen my Total cholesterol has always been 130--140 range and healthy levels of HDL and LDL. But in case of LiverProfile SGPT and SGOT are invariably 55 and 65 respectively i.e. above normal of 40. I take alcohol after 3-4 days gap. Am I at risk of some liver disorder? I am 65 years old. I take multivitamin tablet  plus  Garlic Caps 2-3 and Fenugreek Seeds on daily basis. I am not Diabetic    Please Advise. Thanks and regards

Your liver enzymes are only very mildly elevated. Given the medications and the possibility of fatty liver, things may become normalized after a while. Followup with your doctor in a few months, to see how things are progressing. But your number are not alarming.
