cirosis and massage

What concerns should be taken for liver cirosis patients with massage treatment? Is a liver massage good for the affected liver? Should liver massage treatment be avoided for affected livers?

If you have been diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver I doubt seriously that massage can be of any benefit. I am not a doctor or in the medical profession. I am just a patient who had liver disease.
Personally I don't think I would allow anyone to massage my liver - cirrhotic or not. If you decide to try liver massage I would strongly suggest that it be a very gentle massage. I really don't see an upside and, though I don't know the risk involved, I can imagine how there could be a risk depending on the nature of the massage.

What is your underlying disease that caused the cirrhosis?
