is fatty liver also known as cirrhosis someone please answer

No, it is not known as cirrhosis. It can however develop into cirrhosis in some cases. There are others out here who know more about it then I do but I do know fatty liver itself is not cirrhosis.  Hope this helps alittle.

Fatty liver is kind of early stage liver disease and still has the ability to reverse. If the fatty liver hasn't been resolved, the tissue starts turning fibrous. If the progression/toxin *still* hasn't stopped, the fibrous tissue will turn to scar tissue, hence, cirrhosis. So, to answer your question, no. There are stages in between fatty liver and cirrhosis.
