heterogeneous hypoechoic liver lesion
Hi, my husband, (who is 28 years old) recently underwent a routine medical check-up which included an ultrasound scan of the whole abdomen. The report revealed that - " there is an evidence of heterogeneous hypoechoic lesion measuring 21 x 16mm in the right lobe of the liver". What does this mean? Could you please tell me if there is any need for us to be alarmed? please help!

Hi and thanks for using the forum.

I am not really able to answer your question.  I am going to move your question to the liver forum where you should be able to get some answers.  Good Luck to you and your husband.
