I would get a second opinion. I had 3 cat scans. Showed 3 or 4 lesions in right lobe. MRI showed 6 or 7 lesions in both lobes one month after third cat scan. I think MRI is more detailed. I have 7 small hemangiomas and mine were difficult to diagnose.  I was told maybe cancer. I ended up with 2 biopsies because MRI and cat scans didn't jive with first biopsy that said hemangiomas. Second biopsy also said hemangiomas. I wouldn't wait 3 months because the wait and worry will drive you crazy. And if it's cancer, time is of the essence.  The docs thought my lesions were cancer. They rushed all my tests. I have told my story in detail in several times in posts tonight. Please look for them to see if my story helps. Thanks, I hope everything will turn out okay for you. But I would be proactive in this. From the extensive research I've done on the internet, I've learned that by the time you have symptoms, liver cancer is already in an advanced stage. Hemangiomas are benign clusters of blood vessels that are harmless as long as they stay small. Because they said the pic is vague, I would expect them to go ahead with a biopsy. I was told ( and read on the internet) that pathological testing is the only way to get a definite diagnosis. I'm not trying to worry you, I just feel like you need to know sooner than later. I hope it really is just a hemangioma.
