needing a specialist for liver transplant

my daughter has hep c, advanced liver disease....to  much scar tissue to heal, and hepatic encephalopathy.
i am trying to find a specialist in the philadelphia area that would care for her, and put her on a transplant list.
is this possible with only madicare's access plus?
please, am i just wasting my time?  she has been "clean" for almost a year.  is going to mental health.  had a tox screen that was clear of unperscribed drugs.
she is having so much pain from lactulose that she refuses to take it any longer.  it's been 9 moths of agony for her on this drug.  and she's not that much better anyway.
we really need to find a good doctor to care for her.  i won't go into the horrible care she had been receiving.
please who do i call regarding this urgent problem?

I'm sorry for what your daughter and you are going through. Have you tried the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. UPMC, To find a doctor or make an appointment call 1-800-533-8762.

You need to go back to "Forum" then to liver transplant, to "Ask a Doctor" make your post there. A doctor and other people can get you more advice.
