You definately need to go into treatment and change your lifestyle... you CAN beat Hep C.  I was diagnosed with Hep C about 6 years ago, got it 34 years ago after a blood transfusion but they couldn't even diagnose it until 1991.  I had a viral count of over 3million.  I went on treatment for 2 1/2 months and got so sick I couldn't continue.  I changed my eating habits, took herbs, drank super greens.  I blood tests have been undetectable for 4 years now, and I am 63 years old.  You can do it.  My daughters were born after I contacted it and they are beautiful and have no trace of it.  I had no idea I had it for 34 years.  Do be careful, use protection with sex and get treatment.  You will be fine if you take action.

Be very careful that you don't have any blood exchange with the mother and child. Keep your razor in a draw and even keeping your toothbrush out of the way would be wise so that no uses it by accident. I have hepc too, so it is a constant worry for me too as far as infecting my husband. He doesn't worry about it, but I do. I always keep a few bandaids with me when I am out also just incase I cut myself. Its one big pain in the neck. I am on treatment for the second time and hopefully this time I will clear - because I am tired of constantly checking myself for tiny cuts on my hands and making sure my toothbrush is no where near his etc. As a matter of fact I use a 'childrens' toothbrush that has a cap. Its half the length of an adult toothbrush, so this way my husband won't pick mine up by mistake without realizing it.

Are you planning on going on treatment for hep c?
