It sounds like fatty liver disease but you should undergo additional testing.

Good luck,

i had liver inflammation 1.5 years ago. it was due to fat. i never drunk alchool in my life. my liver enzymes after diet and exercising reduced to a normal range  7 months later. then, i thought my problem is solved and my weight increased. 2 months ago i  saw that my liver enzymes are elevated.

They say that anything is possible but you haven't given us any information that would suggest you have Primary Biliary Cirrhosis (PBC).

You didn't mention whether your liver enzymes are currently elevated. Generally with PBC liver enzymes are elevated.

Also, about 90% of PBC cases occur in females so, if you are a male, your chance of having the disease is reduced.

Liver inflammation can be due to any number of issues - viral hepatitis, alcohol abuse, medication toxicity, fatty liver etc as well as several auto-immune diseases. PBC is thought to be an auto-immune disease and if PBC is suspected an AMA test is usually done which detects antimitochondrial antibodies in the blood.

If you're worried you should see a hepatologist - a liver disease specialist - or a gastroenterologist - a digestive disease specialist.

Good luck,
Mike
