question about fibroscan

hi

i have have heard people having fibroscan to get their liver checked, i should be having a fibroscan too soon,

what can the fibroscan detect?

i have fattyliver and am worried about chronic liver hepitits as i have had raised lfts for years, will fibroscan tell me if my liver has cirosis or if its ok?
whats accurate and inaccurate about the use of fibroscan, obviously the real option is biospy to check liver.
