swelling again

thankyou doctor for help in the past recently I started swelling again they uped my dose of spironlactone to 150 mg
today my regular doctor called and told me to stop the medicine because my potasium is high after a blood test last week can you tell me what I can do now if I don't take the meds I am sure I will swell again I also take lasex I also just finished the last test for transplant everything was o.k. but they still have not put me on the list it's been over a year and one half since I was told I needed a transplant it doesn't make sense to me my meld is 17 thank you
