very minor liver failure

Hi, my dad saw his chiropractor recently and he said my dad probably had "very minor liver failure," but this sounds odd to me. I thought liver failure was always a big deal (I know liver enzymes can be raised by various things but it seemed the chiropractor was making a different kind of claim)

Can anyone clarify? What on earth is "minor" liver FAILURE?

Thanks

I don't believe there is any kind of minor liver failure.  Maybe he was eluding that your father may have some type of liver disease, but I am sure interested in how a chiropractor would know this or what he would base it on.  Do you have more info you could share?
