7mm hyperdensity of the liver on enhanced ct to small to fully characterize

by kmp397, Jun 18, 2009 08:27PM
I had mild elevated liver enzymes on a routine physical  ast 81 high end was 59 alt was 155 high end was 72  doctor thought fatty liver disease I hardly drink but work out a lot and was taking wheybolic protein twice per day.  Did ultra sound report found exophitic syst of kidney. but liver appears normal. otherwise non acute right upper quadrant ultra sound.  Had a cat scan of the abdomen for the kidney.finding within the posterior right lobe of the liver near the dome of the diaphram there is a small 7 mm hyperdensity which is too small to fully characterize.  nothing else was said all the ducts and gall bladder were normal . no reccomendations were made by the radiologist or doctor other than stopping intake of wheybolic protein and supplements and cutting back on carbs. and retesting enzyems in a few months.  The doctor mailed me the report  told me not to worry but I am no doctor should I worry? what is this.  I feel great work out run etc.
