Choledoctal Cyst

In 2006 I had surgery for a Choledoctal Cyst, my surgeon almost immediately moved out of state.  I frequently have pain in my right side and every so often I will have fever and uncontrollable chills.  I was turned over to a Liver Transplant Surgeon by my previous surgeon.  He has never said I should see anyone, come back to him or do anything except take medicine to do away with any stones.  I feel like I might become infected sometime and die.  Do you have any suggestions or am I just panicky?

i am concerned that these symptoms could be cholangitis resulting from obstruction.  at minimum you should have an MRCP/MRI.  people can develop biliary cirrhosis if there is subtle obstruction.  i think that you should be followed a bit more closely/regularly.  have them also check a CA 19-9 level.
