Circulation or Nerve damage???

My husband is 47yo. He is on a wait list for a liver and has had some complications. The one that is concerning me right now is numbness and tingling in his feet.  He has acites (ascites) and this problems seems to have started after his 1st tap?? Any ideas??

i don't think this is related directly to the tap.  people who have cirrhosis can have peripheral neuropathy either related to the cirrhosis itself or from the cause of the liver disease, such as from drinking or hepatitis C.
