Does she can have liver transplant?

Hello.
My mother got hepatitis   B and C virus also got Cirrhosis and  liver cancer.  She diagnosed in 2005. She had chemotheraphy(  TACE)  3 time in 2011, 2010.
Now she got ascites.

Does she can survive from liver transplant?
Is it worth it?

the low albumin can be related to urine wasting but is much more likely due to liver synthetic failure.  She needs to optimize her nutrition as much as possible.  The ascites is also related to liver failure.  diuretics and paracentesis along with dietary sodium restriction is the way to go.  i sense that she is too sick to have a TIPS performed.

Thank you so much for your reply.

Will you give me advice about her current condition.

1. She is been losing albumin ( i assume its albumin) from her urine all the time. How we must stop losing albumin, what should we use for that?

2. She is very weak, has ascites.
What should we use to stop the ascites?
3.  She is not sleeping in the night. Using ANDANTE tablet is ok?

Thank you for your advice

if your mother is otherwise OK and the tumor is fairly well controlled then transplantation is the definitive treatment.  transplantation for HCC accounts for about 30% of all liver transplants in the US.
