Fuzheng Huaya chinese herb for fibrosis

Fuzheng Huaya is a chinese herbal treatment for reducing and preventing fibrosis. It has been safely and successfully used in china for over 20 yrs.There are current clinical trials in the US in Ca. and Fl. showing great promise. Do you have any knowledge of this treatment.? Are there any other trials or treatments of any kind available now for preventing or reducing fibrosis in post tx hepC that i can use. Ive heard low dose maintenance interferon can reduce fibrosis. Is that true?

i am not acquainted with Fuzheng huaya buit will look into it.  currently i am not aware of any ongoing trials looking at antifibrotics in the management of post-liver transplant HCV.  we use interferon monotherapy maintenance in some patients with advanced fibrosis but its use is problematic and is not a routine practice.
