HCC and Treatment

What are the risk rewards for doing treatment with hcc?  can the treaatment make it worse?   Would treatment make a person to ill for transplant?

very rarely would treatment of HCC cause the liver to get sicker, although it is possible.  this would only be an issue if the liver function is decreased at the outset.  Treatment is rarely curative

Are you saying that Treatment is rarely curative for Hep C if you have HCC?

locoregional therapy is curative in about 20% of cases of HCC.  Antiviral therapy for HCV is highly effective
