Liver Cirrhosis?

A while back my father was talking to me about his numerous symptoms which he has noticed on his body. He showed me some brown spots on his tongue, a random rash on his right forearm (about the size of 2 quarters) that doesn't itch, and a lot of mucus buildup around the back of his throat that made him nauseous (which has just recently gone away, but did take about 2 months to go away).  He is a heavy drinker and has smoked since he was a teenager.  He's 41 years old now and has now talked about getting random, unexplainable bruises on his back. His diet is also very lacking.  What ideas would you have as to what exactly might be wrong with my father? Thank you for your time.
