Question about adhesions

Dr. T
I am waiting for transplant. My MELD is Low (11) so I  have  a long wait a head of me.
In 1994 I had Gallbladder surgery and In 2004 I had a complete hysterectomy. My dr. feels that have
" Extensive Abdomenial Adhesions" Because of some  issues I am having.
I recently read a article that stated that Adhesions could be a reason to be refused Transplant. I can't find the article now so I have no way to check it out. Do you know of any instances where someone has been refused transplant because of adhesions?

when people with cirrhosis develop bad portal hypertension the adhesions become very vascular and can bleed a lot during the dissection of the surgery.  thus, its better for patients having extensive previous surgery not to be transplanted when their MELD scores are extremely elevated as the surgery will become more complicated and have a larger transfusion requirement.
