Reversing Fatty Liver

Greetings!

I'm on the Liver Cleansing Diet for 2 weeks. It's hard to fight the cravings. For nearly 3 months I've been taking Godex 3 times a day. Will I stop taking my medicine, and is taking Godex causes a rise of liver enzymes?

Last May, I was diagnosed of Fatty Liver, so I was prescribed to take Godex and Simvastatin. After a month, my blood test rose from 81 U/L to 271 U/L and my SGOT which was previously normal rose to 75 U/L. My intake of simvastatin was immediately stopped due to suspected sensitivity which caused a dramatic liver enzyme elevation.

I'm hoping for a decrease in the level of my liver enzymes following the LCD. What bothers me is the Godex.

i am sorry but I am unfamiliar with Godex. Recent data suggests that use of vitamin E may help reverse the changes of fatty liver.

Are medicines for fatty liver necessary or I just need to diet and exercise?
Because I'm considering taking LiverTone by Dr. Sandra Cabot from Australia, author of several books like her "Liver Cleansing Diet." And in my readings of LiverTone, it contains vitamins and mineral such as Selenium which is helpful for the liver.

the ingredients for the Godex seem OK.  I think you can try these homeopathic approaches and is a good idea.
