Risk of hepatic encephalopathy

Dear sir,
Thanks for contribution in this forum. several times you told, liver transplant should be done late stage. but, severe hepatic encephalopathy isn't life risk in long waiting stage?

if the encephalopathy is brittle, then transplantation is warranted.  if it can be medically controlled with a relatively intact quality of life i would hold off on transplantation, which in essence is trading one set of problems for another.
