Hi Doctor, now that some post-graft patients have had a chance to treat with triple therapy (Incivek), what results are you seeing or hearing about?
I recall in a previous post you stated many patients were started on or remained on reduced dose regimens of INF and RIBA as part of the triple therapy.
Of those patients who became not detectable during the Incivek phase and remained on reduced dosages, what have you seen as far as how they're holding out with respect to VL after completion of the Incivek phase?
it seems that patients are responding virologically and that rejection has not been an issue from data reports that i have seen but anemia remains a major issue and maybe a limiting factor for long term virological response. i am not aware yet of any long term cure rates.
