hcv viral load

Dear Doctor,

I;m 2 and half year post transplant.  Had reoccurence hcv right away >100mm viral load count.  Doctors said anti-virals won't put a dent in >100m.  So my viral load dropped start treatment at 38mm 4 weeks later it was 21mm at 12 weeks i was 7.4mm.  The doctors took me off ribo as I was having blood counts problems.  I was off ribo for 6 weeks.  My 24 week test  result just came back at 5.4mm.
I know that my chances of clearing this virus is now pretty slim.  My questions is:  Should I continue treatment or suspend treatment until new drugs come available.  The anti virals has been very hard on me. If I only have slim chance of clearing the virus, is it worth continuing.

P>S..Treatment dosage.....Pegasys alpha 2a(180 mcg)/week and 400mg copegus daily.
