i really feel like im dying

by lllorett, Jun 09, 2009 09:30PM
For years it has felt like there is a sack of rocks on my side, it gets worse as time goes on. i can now no longer exercise or sit straight in a chair without squirming. it rarely hurts its just uncomfortable. the one day it hurt i woke up totally convinced there had to be a knife in my side. i called my mom to come home hung up and had to call 911. i projectile vommitted bile for hours straight had an ultrasound and nothing showed so i was sent home. its been down hill since then. every doctor thinks im insane, in fact ive even heard one mention they thought it was in my head. well FINALLY a couple months ago an oncologist confirmed through a CT scan that my liver is enlarged. but nothing was done about it. im so uncomfortable just as a i type this sitting in a chair... its all the time now and im always sick with something or another.... what could this be and who should i go see? i just have this gut feeling that something is really wrong with me : /

if the liver is enlarged further tests need to be performed to see why it is (fat deposition, for example) as it appears to be the cause of your discomfort
