liver nodule and kidney lesion

my husband has abdominal bloating , intermittent dull abdomen pain, frequent diarrhea. He went to his doctor who had a US done for his gallbladder. The ultrasound came back with a liver nodule and kidney lesion. Has anyone ever had both occur. He has acid reflux for several years.

i think a CT scan should be done.  the 2 things I believe are unrelated. the Ct scan should be of ther abdomen and pelvis.  almost definitely these are benign lesions that are being incidentally found which is a common scenario.
