off lable simeprevir and Sofosbuvir

Now that Sofosbuvir is approved for pre and post transplant what do you think of me using both simeprevir and Sofosbuvir while I am waiting on transplant?  It would be great to be rid of the virus before transplant

...any transplant program can help arrange this.  simiprevir may not be good after a transplant because of its potential effects on the metabolism of the rejection medication

...a good question.  I am not sure that the insurance carriers will support this but we must wait and see.  The FDA indication is broad so 24 weeks of Sofosbuvir and ribavirin might be another option.
