physical symptons

Hi doc I have hep c and cirrosis (cirrhosis) am waiting transplant have had many problems since being listed but I have physical symptons like hair loss and my chest is growing like a female and other changes in my private area
my doc says that with liver disease a male gets more estrogen and looses his male harmones is this true also
I have not been able to be intimate with my wife for quite some time is there anything a person with this disease
can do or safely take to overcome this or is this just one more thing that I have to accept and will things return when and if I get lucky enough to get transplanted thankyou

these physician changes that you describe are common in men with cirrhosis, as well as a decreased libido and ED.  In almost cases normal function and physical characteristics will return after transplantation. Good luck.  there is no contraindication from the liver perspective to the use of viagra, etc.
