Chest x -ray

My chest x-ray says the following: There are post-operative changes and metallic clips which project over the right anterior chest and right axilla (I had a lumpectomy in 2003).
The lung fields are clear. There is an area of increased density at the right lung base which is felt to represent a vascular marking. The cardiac size and mediastinal contours are normal. There is no pleural infusion.
The impression was post-operative changes. No  evidence of active disease. What is the density with the markings?

Should I be concerned?  My doctor says it's fine.

Hi,
How are you? It is good that you were able to discuss the results with your doctor already. Increased density may pertain to the whiteness or
radiopacity and in this case is attributed to vascular markings such as the pattern seen with the pulmonary arteries and capillaries. The findings are consistent with post-operative changes done in 2003 and is not then a cause  for concern. Take care and regards.
