Could this be cancer?

I am 32 years old. I quit smoking almost a year ago. Now I am experiencing minor chest pains that seem to move around in my chest. Sometimes it feels like a pressure sort of thing and other times, it feels like a quick pinch. I have had a chest x-ray done and they didn't see anything. I am still worried though because I have read that sometimes, chest x-rays dont detect the cancer. I also have pretty frequent heart burn. I am now taking Prilosec for that. Occasionally I will get a small dizziness but it goes away pretty quickly. I also had some minor lower back pain last night but some Icy-Hot and sleeping on a heating pad cured that fr the most part.  Last night a sharp pain shot through my stomach and into my groin. It only did it a couple of times, but it was painful enough to take notice. I also recently detected a floater in my eye,. For those of you that don't know what that is, it's a black speck that is in my eyesight that is truly annoying. It is only in my right eye though. Any suggestions? Advice?

Hi,

Has a chest xray been done to rule out any rib fracture, chest infection, or air in the pleural space?

There could be several causes of the symptoms you are having including a muscle pull, injury or trauma at the site, chest infection, etc.

Do you have any associated symptoms?

You should apply some local pain relief medications, take some oral pain relief medications, maintain a proper posture throughout the day, try some warm compresses.

You could take some antireflux antinausea medications and see if they help with your symptoms - this could be pain due to reflux or GERD.

The floaters are a normal phenomenon in individuals.

Consult your doctor if the symptoms persist and discuss whether you need to get any investigations including a chest xray and ECG done.

Let us know about how you are doing and if you need any other information.

Regards.
