Lung cancer

Hi  !!

Had  2  operations  -  intestinal  cancer,  after  8  chemo  treatments, a  spot  was  discovered  on  my  right  lung,.  after  I  had  an  infection  on  the  lining  of  my  right  lung,with a  fever  of  38,8  -  which  was  gone  in  14  hours,- they  stopped  the  chemo, I  had  a  bronchoscopy,  no  findings, nor  in  my  lymph nodes  in  my  chest,.-needle-lung-biopsy  is  sceduled  for  next  thursday-had  Prostate  cancer  9  years  ago-Radiation  Seeds  -  Radiation and  hormone  treatments,.- PSA  was  0,7  after  6  months,.-  can  this  spot  on  my  right  lung  be  Lung-cancer ?  Am  nervous  about  the  needle-biopsy,.- does  it  hurt ?

To determine the real cause of the lung spot, you need to undergo that FNAC (fine needle aspiration cytology) test which is scheduled for next week. It is performed under local anesthesia and you will feel a sharp ***** when the needle is introduced. Most patients tolerate this minor discomfort well.
