Lung nodules

I am a 44 year old female non smoker. I have been having shortness of breath and chest pain and lung pain. I went to the er and they did a chest x-ray and a ct of my lungs and they said I have nodules one 3.3mm. I am afraid I have lung cancer is 3.3 big or small? I dont know how I could have this i have never smoked in my life and I havent worked or been around any chemicals.
