Lymph node over size in precarinal region

I have the body check report, and found "Small lymph node is noted over the precarinal region, that measures 1.97 x 0.76cm in size.  No internal nercrosis can be seen.  This can be reactive in nature.  No other mediastinal or hilar lymph node can be seen.

Hi.

Do you have any other illness?  Do you smoke or have you ever smoked?  These findings should be evaluated by your doctor or a specialist pulmonologist.  It will be very hard to know the exact nature of this lymph node and it will all depend on what your doctor sees and evaluates.

Sometimes, this may go as far as doing a bronchoscopy (passing a scope through the trachea into the bronchi) in order to get a biopsy or washings.

Hope this helps.  Regards...
