Metastatic Lung Cancer

50 yr old friend dx with stage 4 metastatic lung cancer - spread to other organ: tumor on each adrenal gland & 3 small tumors at the base of the brain; underwent radiation (brain) & started chemo but was suspended due to distention of stomach; have been unable to dx problem with stomach - could it be gastric cancer or the effects of the treatments?
or any other causes possible?
