I had PET scan showing as follows.....there are numerous foci of intense nonspecific glycolytic activity in the right ling pleura most notable posterior and anterior that correlate w/ persistent mostly stable CT hyperdense pleural plaques;which presumably represents talc induced pleuritis/pleurodesis...physiologic activity is identified with heart, GU GI track. Lungs hyperinflated and some distortion of lung parenchymal architecture compatible to cope...
Can anyone tell me whats going on with me ? I had2spontaneous lung collapse in 1996 for bleb right lower lobe removed with talc used, its hard to breathe and pain on right side of chest. Any help would be great
