Recurrance

Two years after a complete lung resection for Stage 1A Lung Cancer in the upper right lobe the doctor said my husband's cancer has come back. The recent CT Scan reports states "Increasing ground-glass nodules and soft tissue near the resection site in the right upper lung are concerning for recurrent tumor". They are doing a needle biospy Monday. I am very worried and scared. Two questions I have during this waiting period. Is it possible that it is not a cancer recurrance? Then if it is back will it be restaged and is he at higher risk for more recurrances. The doctors are saying we are probably looking at deciding between removing the lobe or radiation. The original cancer was adenocarcinoma with bronchoalveolar pattern.
