Should I be concerned

I had a CT scan for a car accident. on it showed a 6x8mm nodule with irregular borders on my upper right lobe
of my lung.  I have had a persistent cough for over a year and had a lung ex-ray aprox 8 months ago no nodule showed on that.
I lost lots of weight but gained it back, I did have a few precancerous polyps removed from my colon recently. I
am a random smoker of non filtered menthol cigeretts for about 5 years. Should I be concerned about the lung nodule
I have stopped the smoking. I am 48.
