Should i be worried

by shelly74, May 20, 2009 04:12PM
I do  have another post on here. My first 2 uppers ribs are swollen on both sides, (think their called the sternal ribs.) but the second rib down on the right side has a hard non movable lump on it. Have mild to modrate back pain, and on Tuseday my left arm went weak and the left hand went numb and tingle for 10mins.  Should i be worried? I dont see the respritory doctor at the hospital until 16th June. I dont want to make a fuss, as when i saw doctor before i told him about the lump i have above left collar bone he wasnt intrested at all. Any advice would be great!!

I saw the lung doctor at the hospital today. He says as the thing on my lung nodule is only 7mm its hard to say what it is, so he wants to wait to see if it grows.  Ive got another ctscan in August,  and have to go back and see him in 4mths to discuss the results. As a smoker he says im at high risk and has ordered me to have a ctscan every 1 to 2 years. Going to see my doctor tomorrow to sort out quitting smoking.
