Small nodule in lung, low sodium shown in blood testing

After a routine BMP, the results showed a sodium level of 128.  Doctor ordered follow-up BMPs which showed lower sodium levels, down to 125 and the most recent test showed an upswing to 132.  A CT scan was ordered and a small nodule was found in the lung.  Does the lower sodium level always indicate cancer?  Is it a good sign the sodium is on the way up?  I'm waiting to see a pulmonary dr next, but can't stop worrying and obsessing to the point I'm almost sick.

FWIW my sodium level was 145 in March 2016 and 135 in March 2017, and had a 5mm nodule identified on low-dose CT (LDCT) screen in December 2016, with no change in status after a followup LDCT in March 2017.

I would recommend not worrying too much, the pulmonary doctor will provide you the information you need.
