Smokers question

I usually smoke 3 cigarettes a day. Whether the risk of lung cancer is high? I tried to stop smoking, but it so hard...
I'm 23 and I do sports (soccer).

Hi,
How are you? Risk factors for lung cancer include smoking and being around others' smoke and family history of lung cancer. People who smoke are 10 to 20 times more likely to get lung cancer or die from lung cancer than people who do not smoke. Several studies show that  smoking 1–4 cigarettes per day was significantly associated with higher risk of dying from ischaemic heart disease and from all causes including lung cancer. I understand that smoking cessation can be very hard and it takes a while to be free from the addictive effects of nicotine. But stay focused and stay positive that you can do it. There are medications that can help such as nicotine patch, etc. There are also support groups available. Take care and do keep us posted.
