Tumor classification

"Eligible patients will include those with cancer involving the regional lymph nodes and surrounding tissues as well as those with unresectable cutaneous, subcutaneous, nodal or soft tissue metastases."

Does this include or exclude lung, adrenal, liver, kidney cancers.?

Hi,

The description you provided does not really provide enough information. It sounds like a description of a metastatic pattern, there is no mention of a primary cancer which is the most important bit of information. Offhand, this sounds like a pattern for breast cancer.

I am assuming that the information comes from details on recruitment for a clinical trial. If the trial is in the phase 1 setting, this usually accepts different tumor types, the main criteria sought is the measurability of the cancer and a fairly good condition of the patient over-all.

If you can provide some more details, then I may be able to elucidate further.
