Understanding report

by jenldavis, Nov 04, 2009 10:38AM
Can anyone decode this report for me:

CT of the chest shows a right perihilar mass, 5.7 by 2.4 cms in size involving the middle lobe, highly suspicious for bronchogenic carcinoma and possibly invading to the mediastinum.  Atelectasis was associated with it as well as some smaller nodular densities adjacent to the tumor.  Mediastinal lymphadenopathy was seen with a subcarinal 2.3 cm lymph node and another node posterior to the SVC and I could also see right peritracheal adenopathy.
