Unsure where to post this....

I work in a sawmill and I've been having chest pains and feeling aches all over my body, a sick feeling and nose congestion. I'm sure it's not cancer, but I was wondering if anyone knew what kind, if any, sicknesses can be caused by inhaling saw dust.

There are irritants that may produce symptoms in the lung. The saw dust may be the culprit. Alternatively, there may also be little parasites in the saw dust that are the actual cause of the problem. If the symptoms seem to improve when you spend time away from the saw dust, and then get all the symptoms again when re-exposed, then the case for it having something to do with the saw dust is stronger.
While saw dust has not been implicated for lung cancer, there are some reports that there may be an association with cancer of the nasal passages.
It would be best to have yourself examined by a doctor. Stay positive.
