What?

I was told that I might have a cold, but recently I've been feeling ontense pains in my throat, chest, back, neck, right shoulder and abdomen. I can't keep my breath for more than 5 minutes. I drop to my knees sometimes, trying to breath and when something does finally come up, it's covered in or flecked with blood. Today my throat felt like it had a knife in it and it isn't the first time I've had that happen. When I was finally able to clear it, it was large mass colored red and orange and pink.
  Now, what do youthink it is? I'm going to the Dr. in a few more days. I'm waiting to see if it will end on it's own. I know that I am at risk for lung cancer ( because of my familly history), prostate cancer and collon cancer. To compound matters, I was unknowingly exposed to toxic gas cloud and I smoke. I know I was in Michigan, I just can't remember exactly which part. It was during a major heat wave. because of the heat, a toxic gas bubble was forced to the top. There was an evacuation and a few friends of mine and I were the last to leave, which in turn lengthened my exposier.
The last time I posted a question I had forgotten all about the evacuation and the gas cloud.
With all these aspects in mind, should I wait, or see a doctor?
